Argh, Tannins!

Yeah, I think so too. I added some more wood to keep the color going!

I add blackwater extract to mine as i like the tannin look too

Yeah, I think so too. I added some more wood to keep the color going!

I have some wood that has been soaking for months and the tannins are still coming out strong so you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

Personally i can't stand having tannins and gave my wood a good boil before use and then used carbon aswell.

I guess it's up to your opinion. Personaly, I am going to keep the tannins because the fish seem to be more comfortable in it.

I kind of like them. The brown looks more natural, but I don't like it when it turns green.
