Argh Melafix Overdose

I've just accidentally doubled the amount of melafix my Puffer tank should be getting
As we speak i'm doing a 50% water change but will this be sufficient to not cause much damage to the Puffers?

yeah that should cover it mate, melafix it pretty much all natural, and although you can overdose on it and it'd burn them, you can also go a bit over the recommended without worrying. Sure it'l be fine, got my fingers crossed for you

Cheers! It's bloody midnight and I just got back and checked on all my tanks and went to give my Puffer's their Melafix and overdosed so i'm doing an emergency water change on their tank and while I was at it I tested the NitrIte on my tropical tank and it's gone through the roof for the first time in years so i've gotta do another water change on that tank... i'm dreading testing my coldwater tank! I could be up until like 1!

Yeah - but it's worth it! I'm just off to test my third tank now... it's normally well-behaved but today it will probably be high in nitrite or something!

lord only knows how but mine and Ian's molly's have both got poorly the last few days..... tanks are in different houses so can't be any spread of disease or anything, but both got the same thing at the same time. I think it's the hot weather personally

Also, i'm home alone and there's a massive bee in my room and I have a phobia of bee's so I can't even get to the de-chlorinater!

I am! I'm in the middle of doing a water change on tank number 3! Well, this is a good cure for MTS!!! I can just imagine if I had the 10 tanks that I planned!

ha ha yeah tell me about it, I sometimes struggle with my 4.

Ian's moving his tanks in in the next month or so, that'll be 6 but at least there's 2 of us to get any problems sorted

But none the less were still planning for when we move next yr and have room for 6X2X2's.... several of them

LOL!! Well, i've done the water changes! I only had 5 hours sleep last night and i'm shattered from travelling to Boston today to watch them play Ipswitch in the football!! And i'm working tommorow so i'll get hardly any sleep tonight, so i'm off to bed everyone... goodnight!!

Oh.. wait. There's still the small problem of the bee in my bedroom Maybe i'll use the spare bed!
