so, i understand that there is a forum specific to plants and planted tanks. however, i posted there a while back about this and nobody cared to respond :( more people browse this forum so i thought i'd give it shot...
i'm looking to get a larger variety of plants for my aquariums. where i live, i have one LFS which is worse than petsmart (on many many levels), which we also have here. neither store really carries plants, atleast nothing that i want or don't already have. i could buy online... but the thing is, i can't, on my meager student job, currently justify spending $10-15 on shipping for something that costs very little. i know we all trim our plants in our tanks, when i'm at home with my parents (i have smaller less densely planted tanks at school), i always am weeding out our big tanks with vals, java moss, something that is most likely moneywort, duckweed and occasionally i trim the anubias some of which are flowering. sometimes some of this stuff gets thrown away.

is anyone interested in doing a swap or giving me some of something that they have? i would more than gladly pay for something like priority shipping ($4) and even a little extra for the plant itself if that's what you want. i would just like a more beautifully planted tank.

:flowers:

I would, but I have no live plants.
I myself need some little plants for breeding.....Have you check out petco? I'd be careful if you do, they have lots of snails. You prolly dont want to take any home with you...lol

there is no petco here, but i imagine it can't be much better than petsmart which is the best here in my area...
