Every time I put my silver molly (female) and my black molly (female) in together they start doing this thing where it looks like they are kissing (their lips stick out real far and attach to the other molly). They will continue to do it as long as I leave them in together.
And the silver molly does that same thing to some of the other fish in the tank when she's in there. But the black one doesn't. She only does it to the white molly.
I took the silver molly out and seperated her from everyone right after I took this video. My question is are they playing or are they fighting? I don't want them to hurt or kill one or the other. Should I just keep them seperate? Or are they just playing?
Also, I had the silver molly in with my new female (golddust, not the black one) and my new male and she never bothered either one of them like that. She only does it when she's in the big tank. And she does it to the black molly and one of the other fish in there. That's it.
I ended up getting the male to try and keep the silver girl busy so she wouldn't do this to the black molly (or any of the other fish) but as soon as I put her back in the tank with the black molly she could have cared less about the male. You'll see him swim by them two times while they are doing the "playing".
