Are These Spots Normal?

Hello,

I recently bought a common plec from my lfs and today I noticed some white spots on him. Are these normal or something that I should worry about? Here are some pictures hopefully they are clear enough.

H20 Stats
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Nitrate = 10
PH = 7.5

No its not normal.
The spots look to big for whitepots, but want to make sure he's not trying to rub himself on things.
Any fluffy bits on him as it look that way in the pic, but pics can deceiving aswell as helpful at times.

How big are whitespots? That is a macro shot the plec is only about 1.5in long so the spots are only about the size of a grain of table salt.

Ok thanks.
If the spot are the size of grains of salt it whitespot.
Turn temp up to 30, increase aeration as the high temp and med reduce 02 in the water.
Add whitesoot med but read instructions carefully as scaless fish you sometimes have to half dose.
Remove black carbon if you use it in the filter.
