Hi all

Are these 3.5 week old Guppy fry big enough to be moved to a tank containing 1 Betta, 6 Neons, 6 Head+Tail tetra, 1 Plec and 4 Corys? because the tank they are in is struggling to cope with the bio-load?

The fry are filmed below...

HERE

Thanks in advance

Look fine to me, though i don't no if i trust the betta, they look like they are having fun.

One of my moms dropped 38 fry n my 55 wit gouramis, 3 types of tetras, 7 guppies and a big plec. I guess I'm just lucky that my fish are more into protecting them with their lives, instead of eating them. It's really the betta that I'm worried about. My betta used to go down and eat entire shrimp pellets of the bottom. It might try to take a chunk out of your fry.

Hi, I like your videos. My Mollie fry are about that size and I would say they are too big to be eaten by your other fish. I have no experience with Bettas though. My fry are in with the adult Mollies (who will definitely snack on the fry when they are tiny), Cardinal Tetras and a Common Pleco who shows no interest at all. :)

UPDATE - I've just added 3 fry to the big tank!
To start with they where swimming around like they are in the ocean! - Then they met the other inhabitants! at first all was calm until a head + tail tetra tried to shake hands with them! (Nothing violent - just curiosity)... Then they met Lawrence my betta... He is trying to chase them but they can easily out swim him - so I'm happy!

It's just bloody hard to try and find all three of them to see if their still alive because there's so many hiding places in their new tank!
