been looking at KGbettas and these ones look like they could be female to me, but some of them i'm not 100% as they are not marked female or male. :look:

Tank 38 Tank 42 Tank 43 Tank 49

38 and 49 are the ones i'm most unsure about but when compared to these clearly male pics Tank 37 Tank 46 Tank 48 There is a definate difference. so some more learned opinions would be appreciated
(and yes i do realise 37 isn't a pk, but it looks like a sibling of 38 maybe?)

Dunno bout anyone else but all of them look like short finned males, HMPK/PK and the first one looks like a very damaged CT. The second is the only one I'd even think for a minute might be female, but even at that... still kinda male-ish.

Hopefully you can get some confirmation of their gender eh?

Bit hard to tell with those, they've not got very good form/finnage at all - but they are in the clearance section, so thats the reason for that.

if you email Kevin at KG Bettas he will confirm the sexes to you - ive brought from kevin before and always been pleased with my purchases..

The last three are definitely female. They all have longish fins for females, but nothing that I haven't seen on a girl before, and they are shaped more like females in the body.

The first one (the CT) is the only one I'm not sure about, but as you've said, the seller confirmed it was a female.

xweektx, not sure what you're talking about... 49 has an excellent dorsal fin and a good tail, and 42 has a great tail. It's hard to tell with 38, and 43's tail is a bit too round but still not half bad for most females that I see sold.

49 is the only one I'd personally consider buying, but I reckoned they were males from a quick look so judging on that the form and finnage isn't the best. Females, yes fins are quite nicely developed.
