i found like a clear sack in my tank and in side there was lil orange balls about 1mm big but i think both my apisto are males. it was in the tank with my 2 new cockatoo apistos in it i got them monday and was doing a water change when i got them. sorry about the bad pic it was on a 2mp phone camra

im going to take them back to the lfs and try and get a proven pair coz they both look male so i dont think they where eggs
dose anyone no somewhere where you can get a pair for about £15

they look like eggs to me, i have a breeding pair of pelvicachromis pulcher, and the eggs look exactly the same only my kribs lay them in a group and guard them. are you sure that you have 2 males? if not then maybe they layed a group of eggs and the ones you saw drifted away

they where all in a clear sack though about 10 of them about 1mm and i think there both males they both have high fins but im not sure about the smaller one

what else is in the tank with your apistos? don't suppose you have apple snails or some species of snail?

Apistos are easy to sex, if they both have red on their fins, they are male, the females will be smaller and gold to brown to grey in colour with a black stripe.

all thats in thetank is apisto
and there just the normale once with no colour and in 99% sure they areboth males

Only male apistogramma have color. The females show some yellow during breeding, but other than that, they are colorless.
