Are There Any Lavender Gouramis In Austraila?

i have been to 3 pet stores 2 of them were ruther big shops and yet no one had even herd of lavender gouramis i think i got a few looks wondering if i was stupied as well sighs if i can ever get the gouramis i have to breed i will have better luck trying there ..........mind u i spose this means i could sell some to the pet store if i can get them breeding ...................any way how long has the lavender gouramis been arownd and wich country did the color first show up in i was thinking maby theres not many breeders over here yet ?i live in west austraila

Do you mean Opaline or maybe Three Spot Gouramis?

nope they are called lavender gouramis if i rember right u can breed them by breeding the Opaline with the darker gold gouramis i cant rember all the details but they are not that easy to breed unless you find the right breeding pair but i think that lavender gouramis must be harder to find in pet shops then i thort if there are peepl on here who dont no of them i guess i will have more luck trying to breed them oh and to see a pic of one the link i posted on my reply befor should take u to a pic ......oh and there are a few peepl on here who i no have herd of them so i no the name is correct and that they are a color morph of the 3 spot gouramis just like the gold and the Opaline and the blue and Platinum Gourami they are all what peepl call the 3 spot the only difrent is peepl have been breeding the three spots color to look difrent so peepl now most of the time call the 3 spot by the color morph name it has like Opaline or gold gourami the lavender gouramis is like them a three spot thats has a new color and its color morph name is lavender gourami
