seeing that it increases Oxygen exchange i dont think it would be suitable and wouldnt use it.
I think they are for Marine tanks anyways.

They are for fresh water, hepfil for taking the sskum of the top you can some times get with co2, a presurised system shoud more than compesate for co2 loss.
I,ve looked at them my self.
 
I use one.
With the DIY C02, and possibly with pressurized you get a greyish "scum" on the surface of the water.
I set my skimmer just low enough to take that scum off the top but I'm sure its not enough surface agitation to knock my C02 levels by 1ppm, if that.

The skimer will aslo clean up any debris, leaves etc etc that flaot on the surface.
You'll have to clean it out once and awhile as well, or it'll simply plug up.
