Can I feed my fish the peas from the sugar snap pod, obviously after cooked and de-shelled?

You can feed them the pea from inside the pod, and also the pod itself. Fish will eat them raw, blanched or cooked. Try all of them and see which your fish prefer. To blanch them stick the peas in boiling water for a few seconds and then remove. Let them cool down and offer them to the fish. Just cut or squish the peas up so the fish can eat them and swallow the pieces.
Make sure the peas are free of any pesticides or other types of chemicals. If you can't guarantee they are chemical free then only feed them the peas and don't give them the pod.
You can try the fish on other fruits and vegetables too. I had rainbowfish that would eat rockmelon, apple, carrot, spinach, and other fruits. I even had one fish that liked banana, none of the other fish would touch it but she liked it.
Don’t give too much plant/ vegetable matter to predatory fishes.

Thankyouu, I knew they could eat normal peas...., its all part of varying my bettas diet to get the best out of him after a long patch of illness in the tank......building up his immune system again :)
I'll have to try him on fruit....are citrus fruits a no no?

Most fish will ignore citrus. Fighters are not really vegetarian and do best on insects and small bits of fish food. Flies, mozzies and other small bugs that have been caught without bug spray can be offered to him. Frozen bloodworms and marine mix can also be offered. Be careful when feeding frozen meat foods because they cause the water to go off very quickly. If you do feed frozen meat foods it is recommended that you do a partial water change each day after feeding.

thinking of getting a sea monkey set.....grow my own brine shrimp to feed him at home.
Just wanted to at least do peas with him as it's good for digestion :)
