Are Platys Big Wasters?

its a bit of a silly question really, but its been really bugging me, iv kept platys before and didnt seem to notice much before, but in my 48ltr i have:

. 6 neon teras,
. 2 male platys,
. 2 corys,
. 1 otto.

and everytime i look at them all i see is a long streek of poo down there bodys, its not pleasant, i have sand in and by 12hours it seems ready for cleaning again, they are very dirty buggers between them lol. are platys usually like this? the poo is normal, i cant help but check

i never knew how much waste they produce.

Yeh they are mine are like it aswell Been thinking about getting rid of them to be honest, they eat everything that enters the tank then crap it out!

platy poop!!! thats nothing, you should see how much poop two 16" plecs can do lol
