I have 3 ottos in my tank and have come home tonight and noticed that 2 of them have swollen or fat bellies. The other otto looks fine desperatley trying to check my L134 but as good as i can check they look fine. Checked my other fish and everything looks good nothing out of the ordinary apart from 2 ottos could this be GREEDY / PREGNANT / ILL . Done a water check 0 nitrate 0 ammonia and nitrates well within range. Any body any advice

Been running nearly 4 months. Havent done anything to the tank for a long while and havent put any more fish in the tank since middle of jan and there havent been any problems until now.

I'm certainly no expert on otos but I have always heard the phrase that a fat oto was a healthy oto. I don't think pregnancy is the issue as to the best ofmy knowledge, they have only rarely been bred in captivity so all you buy are wild caught.

I would move your thread to an area where you would get more traffic and advice but your "Group" is still showing "Validating". You need to validate your membership so you can post in other forums. Go here and have the validation email resent as I doubt you still have the original one from last November. Click the link in the email and log on when the site pulls up. You need to make sure you can receive emails from gmail.com. I once had a problem receiving emails from this site because I had blocked that domain because of spam.

What do you feed your fish.
Cook sone frozen peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell. mushed between finegers into small bits add to the tank.
