ps.
they arent very hard to care for and are very active and social!
PPs sry if this is in the wrong section, im new here!

hetrandia formosa are one of the smallest (poecillids??) livebearers. If you are selling them, where are you located?? I may be interested.

These are the seconed smallest livebearer and the 7th smallest fish in the world.

Males are tiny and rarly get to 1.5cm and females 2-2.5cm

Females produce 2-3 fry every 5-10 days when breeding, unlike most livebearers which produce all the fry in one go.

Well worth a try if you intrested in livebearers and easy to keep and breed in most water.

im not sure how much i will ask for yet, but, ill pm you soon, i have finals this week, so most of my concentration is on doing well on those. lol. stupid finals.
i know how to ship, yes, but i have not yet done so. i work at a tropical fish store, so i have seen what new shipments look like. though, any tips would be much appreciated. i am sure the fish will apreciate it also

I would be happy to buy if you ship. I realize I'm in line behind other people, but I'm extremely interested and would happily buy them all plus pay for the cost of shipping. I can pay by PayPal or send you a money order, whatever... no problem! Let me know. :D

Heterandria formosa
popular name mosquito fish from being used to control mosquito's. This tiny fish is one of the smallest livebearers kept in an aquarium. male 20mm female 30mm. colour is brown in both sexes. Location s. Carolina.Georgia & Florida. it is easy to keep and breed . I kept them and their fry in an 12x8x8 tank. with java moss for the fry to hide in. a temp 70-75f-they will soon breed in these conditions female drops 2 or 3 fry daily for a week or 10 days. they will not eat the fry if well feed.
best kept in small species tank.

hey both of you, (wendywc, meepster)

i have about 30-35 of them.
i have about 6 sexable fry, and more soon,
if it is ok with the both of you, i can gice you both 3 sexable and 15 juveniles.
i will ship if you pay for shipping (what is the best airline or ground service to use) and you live in the united states.
i might wait a little, probably next week, so that the weather wont be so bad, and ill make sure they are well taken care of

Sounds great to me! As you see in my profile, I'm in Houston Texas. As for shipping, the US post office has never done me wrong and their priority mail service is reasonably quick and affordable. My zipcode is 77062. You should be able to calculate the shipping cost from zipcode to zipcode and the weight/size of the package.

good,
meepster, are you still interested?
if so, please send me the information on where to send the little guys.
thanks

i will use a heat pack of course, unless you like fish flavored ice cubes :(

i recieved them as a gift,
so please tell me, how much are they worth, ill trust you.

i can give you each 3 pairs, and then a whole bunch of fry, not sure how many.
