Well discus are the farthest thing from a freshwater beginer fish as you can get. The cost and mantenance compares to a marine tank. You must provide very stable conditions, and at least large weekly water changes maybe every second day plus you will have to consider investment in an RO. Discus are usualy kept with unimposing fish such as tetras and rams. I'm not an expert but would say no.

Do lot's of your own reasearch and be very carfull when considering discus fish they, it is a shame they are so beutiful

unfortunatly not

as Vantge said, they're hard to keep and take a lot of time and maintanence if you really want to keep them.
They need a fairly large tank as they school and like to be with 5/6 other discus

Agree with the above - they need to have peace and quiet, high temparatures, immaculately clean water, etc, etc. Sevs are almost certainly too boisterous for them. :(
