Look at the title descripton for the size of my tank.

Are Angelfish suitible in my tank? I already have two Platies and two Bronze Catfish. Would they bully these fish? :/

Your tank is perfectly fine for angels, they won't bully those other fish at all. The only time I get bullying is between other angels when they pair off for breeding. :D :p

Wahoo! That's great!

Would female Angelfish get pugnacious when breeding though? Would a female be better to have than a male? :fish: <-- Man, I love that emoticon.

The tank is;-
Dimensions 61 x 35 x 42cm/24" x 14" x 17
Surface area 0.21 sqm/2.26 sq ft/ inches sq in
Volume 90 l./20 gal. (23.78 US gal.)
Probable volume 81 l./18 gal. (21 US gal.)

Much too small for angels unless you had it just for a pair with seperate grow out tanks for fry.

I had 3 angelfish in my 45 corner tank but one died. But it was being bullied by one of the other angelfish so I think it was killed or died of being harassed. Now I have the 2 left in the tank and I am leaving it that way. It is a tall tank so no upgrading for me, thank god, I have enough tanks. But I do want a 55 gallon for cichlids one day. When I move maybe, it will be in my mom's house she bought for me and my sis to have when she is no longer with us.

OOOPs Calculated wrong  :/ SORRY boblus, yeah, I would go at least 30 gallons for a pair, and it would have to be a tall 30 gallon tank :D

They will grow. Best to take them back or get another, bigger tank - which could be fun...

It is fine for now, it is just that the fish can't grow too well in there. PLEASE look into getting a bigger tank, if that isn't possible see if you can return the fish somehow :/
