im interested in these,my fig 8 doesnt bother my other fish(gobies),so i wanna try some mollies like 4,and maybe a school of guppies 4 or 5,45 gal tank,i thought i just had a 40 gal but i saw the same tank at a petstore and it said 45 gal,overfiltered,1.004 brackish right now

All mollys are bracking, but they can live in freshwater. :good:

All mollies do well in brackish or marine conditions. About 50% seem to do well in freshwater, and even that depends on how low your nitrates are and how high the carbonate hardness.

SG 1.004 is perfect for mollies and guppies. Try and get one OR the other though. In small groups the males of both species become a bit annoying. But if you have, say, 6 or 8 of them, of which there are a couple males and the rest females, you should be fine. Mollies especially are just as pretty in either sex, so you may as well get more females than males.

Cheers, Neale
