Are Air bubbles just Air bubbles?

Hi all

I'm wondering whats the best type of air bubbles to have in your water.

Mine are currently quite largeish bubbles. Are small bubbles much better?

If i pass my air machine through the filter i get lots of tiny bubbles in the tank.
Is this much better that just through an airstone?

Air bubbles should not be needed at all in a tank with a good filter that aggitates the surface. So its purely down to how you like the looks of small or large bubbles.

Cheers for that into but i broke an attachment on my filter which connect the spray bar. I've not had to remove the spray bar and put another section that does not aggitate the surface.
