Archer Fish Discoloration

My banded archer fish is having a dark discoloration near the anus.

This has happened before but normally it goes back to white any ideas.

I am afraid he might be sick. For last week i had a red scat and a mono sebrae die.


Did a 50% water change but may have been to late

IME they become darker if they are stressed or when the light goes out, I would check your water quality - do you do regular water changes?
Is he bullied by your other fish?
