Arcadia Series 2 150w Halide

Has anybody got any experience with these? It is my first halide & i got it off ebay. One end has wiring as if it connects straight to the mains in the ceiling and the other side just has cut wires? Do both sides have to be connected to the electricity? Thanks.

Yer they do,, i think cos ive got one at work, the power cables are connected above the light so u have to wire it so they dont go into the tank.
2 wires wld mean one for the MH and 1 for the blue tubes?

i aint the best at them but hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply, i think ive sorted it. I put a plug on one end & it works, it hasnt got a blue light in it so not sure what the other wire is for?
