Arcadia Plant Pro T5

Hello all,

Does any one on here have any experience of using the Arcadia Plant Pro T5 tubes?

Just bought a 60" Arcadia luminaire from E-Bay for £75 (Bargin). it's only 3 months old.

Any ideas on good tude combinations for plant growth in a 2ft deep tank?

Personally I don't like the pinkish colour they give off, you would be better with something in the 6500k range such as giesmann but down to personal preference really.

Is Geisman a make of tube? Sorry if thats a thick question.

Yep. I bought a 100cm arcadia T5 unit with plant pros, I really did not like the colour of the tubes so I had to replace them with giesmann tubes instead.

Sometimes they are listed under deltec which I think is the UK version Have a look here at the midday 6000s http/www.essentialaquatics.co.uk/acatalo...D_T5_Tubes.html

But you could find cheaper sources of T5 tubes online, really anything around the 6000k mark is going to look natural and great trust me on that.

I'm using them and plants grow fine. They don't look pinky to me, but I have nothing to compare them to.
