Aranging Tank With Fish

when you are first starting a fish tank cycle and you have one or two cycle fish in the tank does it do anything to the water if you put your hand in it to move plants around?

No - it will be no problem. Unless you don't wash your hand properly first......!

wont the soap after washing your hands get in the water?

Use a gentle soap with no perfumes and moisturising oils, and rinse well. That should be fine.

Use a calving glove. They're big huge long plastic gloves that go all the way up to your shoulder, and are designed for going shoulder deep into the lower digestive tract of a cow (if you catch my drift)

14 bucks for a hundred isnt too bad. Saves you the hassle of washing/rinsing/and drying your arm after monkeying inside your tank.
