Ive used this shop for hardware however not plants. The guy sends the items every sunday and is very friendly and helpful. Just awaiting another glass diffuser from him.

Great shop which i will contine to use :)

I've used them in the past for some moss, the gamba XII bubble counter and also a pair of long handled trimming scissors.

Service was great and the moss arrived in good condition .... the scissors however were not very good, pretty blunt and didn't give a clean cut. I've still got them, but now only use the took kit I got from aquaessentials and a small pair of bonsai scissors.

However I'd certainly use them again for some of the mosses that I cant find elsewhere.

i just bought two species if rare plants from them.came alive and well to the u.s with no problems.
i bought the round pellia and the fissidens.great stuff.cant wait to buy more..dan
thats a pretty good deal compared to the hundreds youd spend on those tools in ADA style.

Dont we need an import licence to bring live plants to the UK from outside the EU. Does anyone know the law about it or the consequences of getting caught if it is illegal. Even if we buy other things are there tax issues involved if customs open the package. I got a friend to bring some plants from Asaia but she was telling me that she thinks its not legal.

Hey When they say that the plant is very low maint and doesnt require co2 and stuff, like in the case of all their plant descriptions.
Is it just a sales ploy? or are the fissidens and pelia low maintenance.

Fissidens and pelia are both low maintenance, although as with most plants would probably benefit with CO2 etc. Fissidens is a very slow growing plant. Pelia is a bit like riccia in the way that it grows. Gets everywhere in the tank too.

Yeah fissidens and pelia are very good for low light/low maintenance tanks they also grow in hight light Co2 tanks

Oh well i`ll see what the scissors are like when they arrive,
Very tempted by some of the mosses when i find the right bog wood

I was concerned on the health of the plants, since I live in the US and it was an international order. I ordered Philippine fern and flame moss. They were nice, healthy plants, so I was pleased.
