Does any one live in OR near Seattle WASHINGTON

I have been wanting a BARREL POND but I have no experience with pond plants..... can they live in the pond all year round???

it can rain a lot here and in the winter it can snow for about 3 days a year... but its been rarer each year...

depends on how deep it is, there is a freezing zone in the ground where after that point water will not freeeze, aboce ground is almost the same i believe, water will freeze to a certain point, but if i were you id get another tank, im talking for the fish if your refering to plants then it depends on how big the barrel is, but im sure its not to big so id say youd be replacing the plants every year
