salaginella albomarginata best i can get (looking at google images) but i am suspicious, is this truly aquatic, fully sbmersible? The name suggests "margin" ie low water level. Any help anybody?

Yeah it's marginal mate, best grown in wet and humid conditions rather than submersed.

Just to clarify on the name; 'albomarginata' refers to the white edges on the leaves. 'Albo' or alba' means white and 'marginata' means 'enclosed by a border' and always refers to patterning in taxonomy :good:

Hmmmm so submerged or not? wouldnt have said there was any white on it either. Now im confused even more.

There may not be white on the one you have, but the species as a whole normally does.

It's bog plant so needs it's roots wet, but won't grow fully sumberged.
