end of the month im getting a roma 200. im hoping for it to be quite plant heavy unlike my 95L at the mo. been planning it for a bit but im stuck on some wood for the tank. im searching for a tree like style where i can attach anubias on in. but cant find anything i like. so im finking should i stick with what i got? i have two bits of bogwood together with a few java ferns attached. i like it but should i keep it the same? should it be in the centre of the tank? should they be split up? or should i keep looking for a bit of wood i like?

this is how it looks currently...

what do you think i should do?

If your after branch like wood you need to look for redmoor or manzanita really, where you based as a lot of shops here sell it now.

weston super mare near bristol.. ive been to a few shops but not really found anything i like and doesnt seem to be much on ebay :(

Im not a massive fan of bogwood really. Its just a bit bulky, it can be made to look better with java fern and anubias. Theres no need to rush anyway, tanks take time

Keep looking :good:

yeah redmoor is the stuff i been trying to find. its just hard to buy a bit of it without seeing it in the tank. no i dont have a tree type bush in garden. just plain grads for the dogs :) i go to the woods with my dogs quite often i might look there for something? can that go in the tank? guessing i strip the bark off and soak it maybe?

I would let it dry for alot longer, then get it in a bucket and fill with boiling water, to kill anything left.
