Aquarium U.V. Sterilizers ????

From time to time I am getting ICH spike… . So far I am winning this battle! No fish lost!
My friend has 30g tank (like me…) and hi running U.V. Sterilizers filter, hi never had any disease problem…

In his setup the U.V. Sterilizers filter is a part of Eheim system, I am running Marineland Emperor Bio-Wheel 400 Power Filter (for 30g tank).

My question is:
Are there any stand along U.V. Sterilizers filters which can be add to my system? Filter which do not need any additional to run.

There are inline UV sterilisers which can be used along with a external canister filter but all UVs will need some kind of pump to take the water from the tank and pass it through the tube. I run UVs on two of my tanks conected to the return hose of my eheims.

I was hoping that is “all in one” type filter…..

What setup do you recommend to add Aquarium U.V. Sterilizers to my current setup?
I do not won’t to change my current filter …..

I use a jebo or jevo (forget the exact name) on two of my tanks. It came with with pump and was very easy to set up. It cost me around $40 each and that included shipping. I think they were around $29. Knock on wood, I haven't had any ick problems since installing them.
