She was meant to be going back to the shop on Sat... they deffo wont take her now!!

Aquarium salt...What where you treating it for?

Well a couple of weeks back I had a iccle bit of white spot... but fingers crossed that seems to have gone. However I decided to add a iccle bit in, just to help my fish a bit...

But now my catfish which was gonna go back on Sat has big chunks missing on her fins... and I cant make my mind up about my betta yet(as to weather his fins are ok)!!

If you put under the recommended dose I don't see why aquarium salt should do this, but if you have used it before recently, and not done many water changes, it may have built up...Still sounds like something else though, by catfish do you mean plecos?Some fish, e.g clown loaches are very sensitive to salt, as with other elements, and others fish without scales.

Yeah I mean pleco!!

Well I tested my water again last night and all was fine.... did a part water change etc

I decided to take my pleco out as I didn't want him to infect my Betta, however I think he has My Betta aint bad at the mo, so as I said I did a water change... but I also added a iccle bit more salt and upped the temp slightly. I don't wanna give my betta medicaine if there is nothing really wrong...


Does anyone have any suggestions??
