OK It's decision time!

I intend to purchase a 4ftt aquarium at lest 2ft tall and min 18inches width.

I've been considering Rena Juwel Aqua One and Aqua Medic (Are Aqua Medic Marine tanks??) I intend to keep tropical freshwater fish.

Does anyone have any recommendations .........I'm open to other manufacturers as well.

Many thanks

Steve

juwel are very popular, specially with people newer to the hobby :) Aqua one are a close second.

Aqua vital / vista are IDENTICAL to Aqua one accept the come with a Canister filter not trickle filter and the lighting unit seems to perform better from what i have been told by my lfs (he stocks both the aqua one and the aqua vital so dont think he was pushing me to the one he would rather sell considering he advised me on the cheaper of the two.) from what i have read about the aqua one trickle filter and looking into it alot as was going to get one they are DANGEROUS (Not saying all manufacturers trickle filters are dangerouse just the one i saw on the aqua one style 850) all the seperated the water in the filter on the top of the tank was a thin plastic cover that just lifts off (Not hinged) the lid on my butter carton has a tighter seal, so if the tank should be accidently knocked or if you have a blocakage in the filter you may wake up one day with a brank new swimming poole in your house that you never wanted.

i got the aqua vital 830 as i said exactly the same in looks, design and build EVEN the Cabinet and they also do the next size up (size your looking at) which im sure is the same as the aqua one accept again external filter not the trickle filter. and poss CHEAPER !!!!

I have an aqua one something or other and i love it  only thing i dislike about it though is there is no hood as such, theres 2 blocks with lights on and then 3 plastic strips. It came with 2 canister filters (never had one before so nothing to compare them to but they are brilliant!) and two heaters

if it's just a plain old rectangle tank your after try ND aquatics:
