Hi everyone;

I just got a 10 gal aquarium that came with a hood and fluorescent light, and I'm not real crazy about the light color...it gives off a blu-ish glow, and really changed the color of the gravel, which also seems to "glow" under this light (the gravel is a combination of "natural" brown, black, rust and white colors, which I bought because it was darker and natural looking, but it isn't under this light). Will any of the replacement bulbs offer a more subdued, natural color? I was looking at the Zoo Med Tropic Sun bulb at the shop, but thought I'd ask here first. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Best,
Chris

BTW, there won't be any live plants

Yeh just ditch the blue and go for a bog standard florescent. Look for somthing with day light/natural or similar in the name.
