Aquarium Is Scratched!

Hey everyone. Well I was cleaning my tank yesterday when my hand hit a rock (there's this rock inside my tank see that I put for decroation obiviously) and it made quite a sizable scratch on the glass. I was wondering, do scratches turn in to cracks later on, and if so what should I do about it?

Not sure... but it's the size of a adult pinky finger

'Scratches' won't turn into cracks but 'chips' on the glass may.
