Can anyone recommend shoulder length gloves, that do not leak within a couple of weeks. As I work with glass, I tend to have nicks on fingers and hands. Tried latex hand gloves with elastic bands around the wrists but not very comfortable.

I can't recommend gloves, however there is such a thing as a shoulder length sealtight container, it is used for people with shoulder length casts so they dont get them wet in the bath or shower, I had an elbow length one before and not a single leak from that. You have get them from most pharmacies and they have finger and thumb slots. I think this might be the best bet.

There is a link there, but I got mine from a pharmacy, I know when I used to run the Pharmacy division at Alliance Boots that Boots can order them in for you, next day if its before 2pm.

Have a search for veterinary suppliers or farm supplies, I have known a while ago that the ' to the shoulder' clear or coloured disposable gloves are great for aquarium use. no doubt you would have seen that they are used by vets and farmers when checking cattle ' internally from behind by hand!'
don't know the cost tho. Hope this helps .

Some swear by them, some at them claiming they leak after a while.

I have these, they are good.

I have used mine for 6 weeks and no problems so far... they are good for general applications - cleaning, moving bigger pieces, etc. - not good for things that require the finer touch such as planting plants with any accuracy, etc.

Depends on what you need them for.

Ebay Gloves

I just bought some of these. Hopefully they'll do the job.:)

Thank you to all for the helpful replies. Going by the number of viewings, there seems to be a gap in the market for some really good gloves.
Once again thanks.
