PM Mr G.

I recommend Greenline for cheap stems, suitable for initial planting. And Tropica for high quality specimen plants.

You've invested in a top system so far. Don't spoil it with poor quality plants. Like buying a Ferrari and painting it with emulsion.

Thanks George i take your point, I have been looking at Greenline and they do seem very good for my initial planting and i like the way they label everthing to. regards john

They certainly have a wide selection of plants, they appear to be a newly setup company?

I'd be tempted to make a small order just to compare them with others, I'd not want to make a large order of plants from any company I have not tried before unless people recommend them highly, I recently tried a single 'Tropica' plant from a shop online I have never used before and it was appauling.

hi nry i agree with you i shall do as george says and use greenline for first planting and tropica for my speci plants regards john

Can't argue, Greenline have never failed to provide me with superb (and usually really big!) plants, well packaged too, none of the padded envelope rubbish that some suppliers send out nicely squashed specimens in :)

The website looks a bit amateur and clearly isn't finished. But that doesn't mean the plants will be bad.

I will be using greenline or AE from now on.

Got some glosso from AE yesterday, ordered 2 pots to do my large-ish carpet and had loads left, was amazed how big the plants were.

Thanks corin, i tkink it sounds like pot luck with what you receive i am sure greenline try to provide the best plants they can after all quality sells plants. regards john

If I feel rich enough, I may order a single pot of rotala wallichii, it'll either be better or worse than recent offerings of this :) Someone has to try them to know if they are likely any good!

Hmm, minimum order value of £25! Somehow I don't think I will be trying them!

Greenline for bulk buying and AquaEssentials for specialities. Can't fault either company based on the plants I have received from them.

I have also bought plants off AE and greenline. And both were excellent, good quality plants. I would advise both of the companies!
