Aquarium For Vastu !

Here in India,
We have a strong believe that fishes are very holy creatures and feeding them adds a great count to our religious Values.

Now keeping the aquarium in the north direction of the home brings a great health and wealth to the home.

And last it is said that we should keep that many fishes which are equal to the birth date of the head of the home or it's multiple.

These were the religious part, apart from the hobby.

Interesting, in many modern western pagan beliefs, things assosciated with water are placed in the west, ( though this is usually on the altar, it can of course be done in the home ) though this is merely because the west is associated with water and water with emotion, not to gain the favour of any god/s.

I have no idea if any other pagans place their tank facing the west or in the west, but I myself do.
