I have a Eheim vivaline 240ltr and the sliding access panels seem to stick rather than slide freely, can I use a lubricant that's not harmful to the fish

Same… am following this thread

Id look at using something natural odds are it’s ok if it’s natural ... right ? Ahaha maybe something like olive oil could work , if not ,theres ample amounts of water based lubricants on the market not sure if they have ever been used on fish tanks but who knows what people do nowadays

Don't use oils or lubricants in aquariums. They can leave a film on the surface or poison the fish.

If coverglass are sticking, clean them. It is usually algae or minerals building up on the glass that stops them moving freely.

Is vinegar a safe bet for scrubbing off calcium gunk
