Aquarium 3D Background

hi guys have any of you got 3d backgrounds in your tanks. If so did you put it in there when you had water in there? Been looking on ebay for some 3d background but do you no anywhere online that i can get it from?

Make your own. There are a few videos on youtube that give a step by step guide.
What make is your tank? Check the manufacturers website, they might have one designed for your tank.

i was after one until i was told you needed to drain the tank and silicone it to the glass. so basically wait 2 days for it to dry before putting water ans fish back in

i stuck mine on the outside with sellotape, works ok.

you dont there are plenty out there that can set in water

the bloke also said that if you dont drain the tank and stick it to the back of the tank then any water that is trapped behind it will go mouldy and stagnant

Do you know who makes them? Suppose it's ok if your fish aren't small enough to get round the back

ah tis true but this can happen any way there not water tight around the edge, get some food stuck in there and thers your ammonia spike

Not a clue mate, they're just on a shelf in the shop (Maidenhead Aquatics).

Not sure but they could be sealed up and are hollow inside, so you'd just have the gap between the glass and suction cup.
If they're not sealed up there'd be a nice cave for your fish, will they get back out i dont know lol.

Next time i'm there i'll have a better look at them though
