Hi..

I have a DIY CO2 setup running but am hoping to upgrade to pressurised soon.

After a little research, I think all i need is a Regulator/Needle valve thing, a CO2 canister, a diffuser, a non return valve and the obvious CO2 tubing.

well i have a hagen ladder to use as the diffuser and i got a non return valve on my DIY.

I am gonna go looking for places where CO2 cannisters are sold. But with my poor polish, i think it will be quite difficult.

Anyway IF i do happen to find a cannister for cheap, do you think this product here in the link will work and complete my CO2 setup?

LINK

Its a regulator with double gauges and its also got a built in needle valve. Is it good enuf?

Thanks

welding shop eh.

Would they be in the telephone book?

I shall get my friend to read up the polish phone book for me soon. I was thinking maybe the Biochemistry department of my University would have some CO2 cannister around... maybe i should ask them where they got theirs.

Pubs are a good bet for co2 bottles and its a good excuse to sample the good while your there :D

You could buy a large co2 bottle for carbonated drink the type you would get in the pub or restrants.
Ask where they get it from.

You will probably need to buy an adapter or have one made for it, a frieind of mine did this, he managed to buy an adapter from gemany.

I,m having a look at this option for my JBL system, so i can use my JBL bottle as a spair while i'm changing the main bottle.

simon- On the web page it says that the regulator fits standard industrial CO2 cannisters... Do you think that i would still have to search for an adaptor??

and if you can, can you please ask your friend where he (or she :hey: ) got his (or her :hey:) adapter from? as i would like to have a backup plan if the regulator does end up requiring an adator.

Thanks mate

I dont think you need an adaptor, i have checked these out before from UK websites and i came to the conclusion that you dont need an adaptor, also the price you are getting this is very good, in the UK the cheapest i have seen this regulator is approx 105 euro.

Im nearly certain you dont need an adaptor, but they have a facility on the website to ask questions or contact them with any queries, so i would take advantage of that and ask them just to double check.

Auctually here a link where i seen this regulator in the UK, this sorf of confirms that it fits standard co2 cylinders, it also says you can get an adaptor or convertor for the disposable co2 cylinders, which are always an option but the regulator will fit a standard co2 cylinder which is what you want, but i would still double check on the website where you are going to buy it.

Scroll down the page for the regulator
