Aquaglo bulbs are 17000K (or is it 18000K) and life glo2 are 6,700K. But aquaglo says it's for plants and fish, but so does life glo2, but more expensive. Then again life glo2 is the right spectrum. My question, should you get the aquaglo even though it's no 6,700K or should I get the life glo2.

thanks

id go with the lif glo 2...use the better spectrum..imo...dan

I'm using an Aqua-glo and a power-glo which are both 18000K, I think, and my plants seem happy.
I did some reading on the colour temp thing and got thoroughly confused as to how those tubes can be 18000K... but they do seem to work OK.

I used my instinct and your advice and got the aqua glo 2 since it's the right kelvin. thanks
