I got told to look on AquaBid for a nice CT male and yes i must admit they are really nice... They are $15 so what would they be in £ also... how do i know what postage is? and do i just get mom to place a bid like you do on ebay ?

Its not actually legal to import a fish without a license, if you are caught it would result in a hefty fine and confiscation of the fish, shipping to the Uk is also very expensive, you usually need to go through trans shippers - this is why sadly us English folk rarely use Aqua bid even though the fish are very tempting

There are a few breeders in the forums located in the UK you could contact. I'm sure at least 1 of them has some nice CTs :D

I got my CT from here arrived in perfect condition and perfectly happy now mine was a Thai import that they had got through a transhipper so I was bung third party but it was a lot less expensive then trying to get your own thai one.

At present there is no transhipper operating in the UK, so the closest one is Germany. And it is very expensive :(

I'm surprised at that! Big hole in the aquatics market there, unless the procedure involved for getting set up as a transshipper is incredibly expensive.

Check out ebay for legal fish in the UK.

Or modaz has some in the shop sometime's (but mainly just ebay)

Could i please have some link to different people selling bettas on ebay ?

they have some lovely ones at www.thebettalady.co.uk I ordered my black orchid crowntail from there last week & they arrived very fit & healthy, well packaged & the P&P wasnt that high.

On ebay, just do a search in the pet:fish section for 'Betta', there are quite a few nice ones on there lately.
