we`re planning our new set up and were thinking of using aqua soil, I`ve used it before in a high tec set up,

but in a low light NO co2 tank am i just asking for algae???

no, it just gives more nutrients available to the roots and less room for error when dosing in the water column (if you miss a dose etc). You wont have to dose as much in the water column which is a good thing but dont go on my word, just look at the plants, they give all the signs you need ;)

Only an imbalance of nutirents cause algae, not an overdose.

so what sort of dosing would you recomend for the water column?
simple trace?

Yes it ill be ok, they usually come with potassium aswell so unless you see any NO3 or PO4 defficiencies then it will be fine.

YEAY!!!!!!

cheers again arron....
