Aqua Ray Are They Worth It?

im considering using 6-8 aqua ray duo lights for my new tank but i dont know if there going to be over kill or not im not going to have any live plants but i want to have a deep tank between 30 and 36 inches and i want to keep the electricity costs and maintaince bill low so i dont mind the initial outley so what do you think ist it worth it and is there any way to work out the running costs off normal bulbs?

If you aren't having corals or plants in the tank then they are overkill. Would be a lot cheaper just getting a bunch of white normal LED strips (maybe with the odd blue or UV strip depending on how you want the colour to look).

A single T8 lamp would be cheaper, both to run and buy initially, than 6-8 Aquaray units and will do the job just as well as you need it doingTBH
