I am just setting up my second AR620.

My first one I've had for about 18 months and its silver with matching cabinet. It has a deep blue plain b/ground, black gravel and loads of hideouts, which are getting a revamp this week. Also has a bubble river but it makes my filter vibrate as I think its too powerful so I don't use it, even though I love it and want to work out how to clamp the tube to lessen the flow - any ideas?

It reminds me of the ocean in space, kinda futuristic, minimalistic and very 'cool' looking as in icy.

I have 5 jumbo congo tetra, 2 panda cory, a khuli loach, some baby flying fox, bristlenose and a couple of large barbs.

My second tank is going to be my Zen tank. It's a black tank with a dark wood stand. Its going to have a black/brown mix of fine sandy gravel and a silver foil background (from LFS not the kitchen drawer lol). Hideouts in the form of large ornaments made to look like stacked pebbles and a trail of proper polished black pebbles too. Might have a twisted log thingy in there too. Will move all my fish into this one except for the jumbo congo tetra and large barbs, but will put 2 clown loach in and a couple more khuli loach and panda corys, replacing the moved fish in the silver tank with a shoal of lamp eyes and some silver sharks.

Had a few tanks in my time, but these are by far the best. My silver tank has the heater on the far right side - where is your heater in yours? Just curious really, as I have to really stretch the flex over.

I had mine right in the middle low down on the glass. That was one thing i hated about the AR620 it was awkward to get the heater into and out of the tank!! Also getting the lid off to go and clean the filter annoyed the hell outa me!!

the heater in my AR126 is near the filter intake or strainer (just beside it)... but i dont know anything about the AR620... maybe stick it somewhere on the back or on the side somewhere?
