Hi everyone..

I need some help.

Today I brought a Aqua One 101F Maxi Internal filter for my tank as a back up to my UGF.

My 2 questions are:

1. Does the intire filter need to be submirsed in water including a little bit of the power cord? I have put mine just so the cord isnt under the water (I didnt want to electrocute myself when turning on the power).

2. It just does the occasional misty spray. Is this normal or should it be constantly doing a misty spray?

Thanks guys. I am really unfamiliar with internal filters, so I just needed to ask.

Yes, the filter is fully submersible, the power cord will be fine - if you wanted, you can leave the top part of the output nozzle just above the water line to create some turbulance on the water if you need too, otherwise under the water line is fine.

Think the misty spray is the filter clearing out some small air pockets - should stop doing this soon.

Thanks guys. I am really unfamiliar with internal filters, so I just needed to ask.
