Hello everyone I am sadly thinking about closing down my primary tank in my house. It has been running non stop since 2020 and its now time to close down.
The aquarium holds approx 140 litres and is cubed shaped. It sits on its own colour coordinated stand.
The cube is 25 inches high approx.
The width and depth is 20 inches approx.
With the stand+aquarium its 55 inches high approx.
I have never had any issues with this tank, the glass is extremely thick and has good silicon quality seal all around.
I have replaced the old style tube lights with the Interpet Tri-Spec 2 full spectrum LED lights. Please have a research about them. They are customisable and programable They cost me £120.
The filter is a work of art. It has a Rena Filstar xp3 filter, which is by far one of the best filters IMO. It has run non stop for 5 years without a single issue, super silent and an incredible flow rate. The filter can handle 660 litres, so way above any aquarium needs. I will throw in a spare which I have in the garage. You will find it hard to find these filters anywhere else.
It also comes with a super slim, electronic heater which can be adjusted. It is the 200w Aquael Ultra Heater, please research it. It cost me £40
It will come with the tubing just as i set up. I also have so many accessories and cleaning equipment such as scrapers and magnets, anything and everything you could need.
I also can include the ornaments inside the tank, but they will need to be cleaned as it does have substantial algea.
The tank is still running, but I want to know if anyone is interested before I actually go ahead and shut it down. I will clean the tank to the best of my ability. If you want me to keep the plants and substrate I can do that. Will need 2 people to bring down, but I will be there to help.
