Hello everyone,
I've just become the owner of an Aqua One AR980 tank with wet and dry filter.
I've put the filters together but have 3 slots to fill and only 2 nets of, what I presume to be, carbon.
My questions are,
1. Should the carbon stay in the little netted bag or be emptied out on top of the black sponge.
2. If I didn't add new carbon every 3 weeks as stated would it make a difference ?
3. I had planned on having a sandy bottom but the aqua one instructions only mention gravel. Has anybody used sand in a similar tank ?
