Aqua One Ar850 Experience?

I finally ordered my tank and it should be delivered Thursday or Friday.....
Does anyone know if I should place anything (styrofoam, etc) between the tank and the stand? I have read differing opinions on the subject and am not sure. I would much rather do it right from the start than say "oh s*#t" after I have already set it up, filled it, and began fishless cycling. Any opinions will be appreciated !!!

if its got a floating base you dont want anything under it
but if the base is flat then its best to place over a thin layer of foam or similar to allow it to level better

thanks andy.......can you explain to this dumb newbie what a floating base is? thanks......

floating base is set higher than the bottom of the sides.
think of looking at your tank cross-section.. does it look like a H (ok the gap at the bottom will on be a cm or two) but you get the idea.. as opposed to a flat base which would look more like |__|

They delivered my tank today......finally!!!!! Got the stand and everything else assembled, and it's almost ready to be filled. Need to make a trip to the lfs tomorrow to get gravel and some misc. things. Doing a test run to see if I like it where I placed it. Once the water is in....too late!!!

By the way Andy.....it is a floating tank, so I don't need to put anything between the tank and the stand!

Looking forward to getting through the cycling and getting my first fish. Thanks everyone for the advice so far.....I'm sure I'll need more very soon.
