So here is my tank after being completely emptied after nearly 3 years. Changed the pea gravel for sand. Done away with the tank lid filter system as i reckon they arent up to much. Introduced a fluval 3 for the filtration,an air pump and 6 inch stone-Added loads more plants-some are a bit bright but should look better with algae on.(I never have a problem with algae) Added an led spotlight in each corner ,one green and one red for added effect in the evenings. There is 1 black bar endler,and 2 hybrids in the tank at the moment,cant make my mind up what to add in the future.

I went for the red plants as they have a red light shining on them -they look awesome at night
