Aqua One 102F Filter ,where Does Cartridge Go Any1

my filter has broke,so ive borrowed a brand new maxi aqua one 102 f , not a ver gud filter by the way it looks and sounds, anyway , ive read instructions , there is 2 little cartridges with charcoal in , but i dont know where they go, ive trie inside filter,but they dont fit in, cant wait to get my broken fluval u2 filter exchanged, they are brilliant filters,silent, im lost for ideas now where these things go
