I had so much fun doing some aquagardening today! The rocks and driftwood in my aquarium now have patches of java moss tied to them. I also took a few baby spider plants off the mama-plant and tied a few of those to some lava rocks. We'll see how they fair.

The tank is starting to look so good! The addition of driftwood and now the moss really makes such a huge difference in the tank. I can't wait until the moss grows out a bit.
I had lots left over so I took strands and tied it around little rocks and dropped them into my betta tanks. Every tank and bowl has at least one moss rock in it. Not sure how they'll do in but it's worth a try.

I'm trying to get around having to change the substrate and still have some live plants. Eventually I'll do the switch and add some CO2 but for now just some simple java moss wood and rocks will have to do.
