Hi all:

I was looking at the Aqueon MiniBow 2.5 and 5.0 tanks. I notice that although there is a clear plastic cover that covers most of the incandescent lamp, there is a gap basically right where there the lamp screws into the base. It would seem that a lot of water would condense onto the lamp threads. I'm sure this has all been UL listed, but do any MiniBow users have any comments regarding how much water condensation gets up onto the lamp threads? I also noticed that these incandescent lamps use lead solder both at the base of the bulb, but also where the glass bulb seals onto the threaded portion. If water condenses up onto that lamp thread onto the lead solder and back into the tank, could lead be leaching into the tank water? Sure we don't drink it, but we do stick our hands in that water. Just curious.
